The World Awaits
It seemed like forever, but it was a mere 14 hours from the time we met at the Grand Rapids Ford Airport to say good bye to our family and friends and hellow to our new roomates for the next 16 days. Our team has done a great job of dealing with all the joys of traveling, sleeping in seats created by and for third graders, eating airline food, wandering through airports with instructions in many languages to meeting the strangers sitting next to them on the plane. I have already begun to see God work in the lives of these students. We arrived on time and with all our luggage and equipment! Leszek, Amy and Sarah greeted us at the airport and wisked us away to our home for the night. A baptist church in Warsaw, Poland. After cleaning up, we experienced a great Polish meal and then spent the afternoon sleeping, and seeing some of Old Town Warsaw.
Tommorrow we board a train to head north to our final destination of Ustka, Poland. Please pray for God to use this team in a huge way these next few weeks. It has been cool to see glimpses of God show up in the events of this Day. Our prayer is that those glimpses would turn into and amazing image of what God wants to do in these students and leaders lives. Please pray that as our team wrote out their spiritual goals for the trip that God would give them the chance to see His work in their lives.
Please pray also for:
-the students that are still signing up for the Camp...Mostly Non-christians!
-for continued safety as we make our way to Ustka
-for our team as we spend time committing to our mission on Saturday night in Ustka.
Thanks so much for praying and allowing God to work in your kids.
